Watercolour is probably my favourite medium. Always exciting and unpredictable. You never know how the water and paint will react with each other and the effects that will be created.
For these two abstract works, I explored a completely new technique using paint straight from the tubes and then loads of water using a 2” brush and a spritzer. At the end I felt that one gave the impression of a dramatic sunset and the second a magical full moon but I am sure people will see different things in these.
