I’m not sure how I managed to get this done, laid flat on our sofa with one of my current cats lying on my lap. The sketchbook was held in one hand, iPad propped on a cushion and water supplied from my drinking glass of mineral water. Still, somehow it got finished: Toby 6” x 4 Sepia ink. He was my first cat and this was just a preliminary sketch for a book I have in mind about all the animals that have lived with us over the last 40 plus years. I was surprised at how well it came out but maybe not as he rarely left my side for ten years.
